Classically trained at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre with Prof. Matthias Höfs, his career has taken him from leading orchestras and concert halls to jazz, pop and individually curated musical projects.

As a trumpeter, he has performed with orchestras including the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester, Bamberger Symphoniker, WDR Sinfonieorchester, WDR Funkhausorchester and Philharmonisches Staatsorchester Hamburg. His engagements have taken him to venues including the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Kölner Philharmonie, Berwaldhallen in Stockholm, Grafenegg in Austria and Maraya in AlUla, Saudi Arabia.

Alongside his classical career, Annerbo has always moved naturally between different musical worlds. Jazz, pop, private events and concert projects increasingly led him beyond the role of performer alone.

For Annerbo, music has never been only about what is played, but about what happens in the room when the right music meets the right moment. Bringing musicians together, shaping programmes and creating an atmosphere around an occasion gradually became as important to his work as performing itself.

This understanding continues to shape his approach today: the right music depends on the setting, the people in the room and the atmosphere of the moment.

Today, his work brings these different worlds together. He performs, develops concert concepts and personally curates artists and ensembles across jazz, pop and classical music for private, corporate and cultural occasions.
